NEP Group has 10 businesses around the world offering services to the AV and broadcast integration markets. Combined, these businesses equal a company ranked 12th largest in the world for AV integrators. To recognise our ability in this market, Creative Technology – Systems Integration (CT SI) is being launched to increase coordination, sharing of experience and connections, as well as resources wherever possible. Having a stand at ISE is an opportunity to present ourselves to new and existing clients in a way that we haven’t done before.
The Road To ISE

What is ISE?
ISE is the world’s leading AV and systems integration exhibition, showcasing the world’s leading technology innovators and solution providers, and includes four days of inspiring conferences, events and experiences.
Dave Crump, CEO of CT’s European and Middle East Division, stated, “CT and the wider NEP Group have an incredible global reputation for our pioneering work and global scale across almost every facet of the events and broadcast technology delivery. In addition, we have been quietly and steadily growing a parallel business focusing on the permanent installation market. It’s a very different business and delivery model that utilises many of the skill sets and common technologies, so it is a natural extension of our growing service portfolio. Having decided to more actively market and promote this exciting service offering we have seen a massive appetite from our existing and many new customers to engage our global teams in multiple spectacular and highly innovative installation projects. The ISE launch is an exciting evolution for CT and NEP Group, which marks a new chapter in the evolution of our business.”
Jørgen Damskau, Head of Museums and Exhibits for CT Norway, explained how launching the brand at ISE will excite the marketplace. “For some, we will become a one-stop-shop for both the live entertainment circuit that also does industry standard installs and systems integration,” he said. “For new and old clients, we will be perceived as a key industry player that will share and use our hands-on experience of live events to bring it into the fixed installations circuit and leverage experiences that will benefit clients and visitors.”
CT Norway has been in the systems integration business for the last 25 years, supporting markets in both private and public sectors.
Teresa Juncosa Umaran, Head of SI Engineering for CT in the UK, also sees the benefit of launching CT SI at the show. “Launching the brand at ISE will be a great opportunity to show what the Systems Integration teams are capable of and the worldwide support we can offer. Our goal is to demonstrate our commitment to growing the Systems Integration part of CT, and our dedication to bringing the very best creative and technical solutions to all clients.”
CT formalised its UK SI team in February 2021, with members of the team having been in the industry for over 20 years. CT SI has done multiple UK projects in immersive and experiential venues as well as sports, corporate, high-end residential, retail broadcast/XR and studios.
Attending ISE alongside CT SI will be NEP Integrated Solutions, to thoroughly highlight the multiple markets we support and the vast technical solutions we provide globally.
John Mills, VP of Business Development for NEP IS, has been in the industry for 29 years, primarily focusing on the corporate space but has also supported sports leagues, media companies and collegiate sports. He explained the changes he’s seen in systems integration throughout his career.
“The major developments in broadcast were the change from analog to digital (SDI), and then to HD and the multi formats. These changes certainly had an impact on the systems integration market, however, the design and build process was still utilizing broadcast standards. The evolutionary shift happened with the transition from SDI to IP. This shifted the entire workflow for clients and made the design process more challenging for the integrator. IP Solutions offer a lot more power and flexibility to the end user. With the complexity of IP, the end users are in need of a technology advisor like NEP IS to guide them through the design and build process.”
Bringing all of our businesses together gives us strength as a group
Whether it’s a CT or NEP project, it can be conceptualised, designed, and delivered in different places all over the world, with the support of a unified team.
“NEP/CT possess a vast pool of technological insight and experiences in nearly all relevant markets. As a group and as individuals, we are connected worldwide with both entrepreneurs, clients, providers, and institutions,” said Damskau. “We are the best practitioners with a vast array of best practices – to share these is to create new opportunities and new business, worldwide.”
“NEP has some of the best technical minds in the industry. We can offer our clients innovative ideas and effective solutions based on decades of experience. The collaboration between our groups provides our clients with a single source for all their technical needs and expands our reach into new markets,” says Mills.
CT Systems Integration will be located at Booth 5G225 at Fira Barcelona, Gran Via.
