Nordic Business Forum 2025

Nordic Business Forum continues to be the largest annual business and leadership event in Europe. This year, NBF brought together over 7,500 business leaders from 50+ countries for two days of inspiration, knowledge, and connections. The theme, Moving Forward, promised to spark powerful conversations about the future of business and leadership.

Behind the scenes, Creative Technology created an extraordinary technical production that powered the experience for the viewers and speakers alike. Together with Visual45, who shaped the visual identity of the show, we created an impactful audiovisual experience.

Collaboration between Nordic Business Forum (NBF) and Creative Technology (CT) dates back to the event’s early days in Jyväskylä over 10 years ago. This successful collaboration has continued over the years, and in 2024, CT Finland and NBF started an official partnership.

CT Finland’s Corporate Sales Executive, Hannu Hautalahti, describes Nordic Business Forum:

“Since last year, the collaboration between CT / Visual45 and NBF has strengthened even further. The setup has been completely re-designed, which has increased the amount of discussions and meetings, which is of course presumed to happen. With common strong vision and willness to deliver yet another thrilling audiovisual experience, it has once again been worth every minute of brainstorming and finding the right path for everyone.

Both pre-production and onsite-production wisely, we are seeing all the benefits that long-lasting collaboration can bring. Regardless of complexity of the technical setup, we have been succeeding in every aspect of the technical production. This is due to understanding the needs, demands and customers wishes this particular delivery sets before us. This wouldn’t be possible without open and active discussion between all parties.”

An impressive technical setup

Behind the scenes of Nordic Business Forum 2025, an extraordinary technical production powers the experience and the technical setup continues to be one of the largest for annual events for Creative Technology Finland.

The main stage alone is brought to life with a vast LED setup spanning over 500 square meters, supported by dozens of displays for operators and speakers. State-of-the-art media servers and computers ensure that every piece of content runs seamlessly. Lighting plays a key role in creating the atmosphere, with more than a thousand fixtures shaping the look and feel of the event. Audio is delivered through an extensive speaker system and hundreds of amplifier channels, guaranteeing crystal-clear sound in every seat.

A robust communication setup with dozens of intercom units keeps the crew connected, while nearly 20 kilometers of cabling, from video and audio to lighting, networking, and fiber ties every element together.

The structure itself is built on kilometers of truss and hundreds of square meters of staging, all assembled and dismantled by a dedicated crew of around sixty professionals. On show days, nearly twenty operators work behind the scenes to ensure the event runs flawlessly.

Our partnership with NBF continues to grow

For Creative Technology, Nordic Business Forum is a significant project that we have worked on closely with the NBF team. Events of this scale require deep expertise and technical know-how. The strong, long-term commitment to a shared vision resulted in an unforgettable event once again. We are already looking forward for next year’s edition, with the theme being The Human Edge.

Thank you for your trust and a partnership that continues to grow and flourish year after year, Nordic Business Forum!
