Ulls del món works to bring high-quality ophthalmic care, through local health services, to visually impaired people without the financial and medical resources necessary to treat themselves. Fighting against avoidable blindness they carry out projects in countries such as: Bolivia, Mali, Mozambique and the Sahara. It also seeks to raise awareness in society regarding the deficiencies in basic healthcare suffered by those living in countries with a medium or low development index.
The team from CT Spain was delighted to collaborate again on this year’s gala providing video, audio and lighting services for the event. One highlight of the evening was a video presentation from Javier Bardem in which he donated a photograph of his iris for auction, helping to raise additional funds to support the foundation.
