Finland’s largest music awards ceremony of the year, Emma Gaala, was held on Friday, May 6th at the Helsinki Ice Hall. The annual gala celebrates Finnish music expertise and the prestigious Emma awards are given to respected artists, bands and producers. Commissioned by our client Visual Monkeys, we were honored to be responsible for the audio, video and lighting design and implementation of the gala.
The production included approximately 100 square meters of LED image space and 450 lighting fixtures, which created a festive gala atmosphere in the Ice Hall. The sound system consisted of d&b’s smaller speaker sets, designed with live TV needs in mind, not forgetting the venue’s live audience and dinner guests.
