Creative Technology once again served as the festival’s technical partner, providing solutions for several of its stages.
We delivered the technical production for five stages at Flow Festival. This year, our largest delivery was for the Silver Arena, where audiences came to enjoy performances from dozens of artists. Situated inside a tent, the lighting provided by CT truly came to life. We also supplied the arena with a sound system built with main and delay speakers to ensure consistent and clear audio throughout the tent. In addition, we delivered an impressive curved LED wall for the stage as well as camera systems.
Balloon 360, recognized as one of Flow Festival’s trademarks, also featured CT’s technology. Our team built the truss structures for the stage and installed a 360-degree sound system. Lighting was carried out in collaboration with SunFX. For the Front Yard, known as the festival’s techno yard, and the more relaxed Heineken Backyard, CT provided sound reinforcement. The Other Sound featured a large gauze curtain, onto which we created stunning projections using multiple projectors.
Planning for the festival always begins in the latter part of the previous year, and this time the technical planning continued until the end of July, incorporating additional artist requests. Flow Festival was built this year with the help of over 100 crew members, and even during the festival days, more than 20 CT technicians were working across the five stages.
