Creative Technology was responsible for the technical planning and execution of the Olympic stadium concerts, while Visual45 took care of the visual aspects. We delivered the shows’ sound system, LED-screens, IMAG-cameras, lighting, as well as truss and rigging equipment. Projects on the scale of the Olympic Stadium require deep expertise, and during the event week, up to 127 CT’s professionals worked together in one shift on site.
In addition to the workforce, an impressive amount of world-class technical equipment was used for the event’s setup. A total of 30 Kinesys motors operated 15 moving lines, creating dynamic and spectacular elements on stage. The event was recorded with 15 cameras, and 14 followspot operators ensured perfect lighting on the band members. Sound was delivered throughout the stadium with 200 speakers, creating a powerful audio experience, while over 400 m² of LED display was used on stage. Approx. 570 lighting fixtures were used at the show – 80 of them were CT’s new Martin MAC Viper XIP fixtures, which got to shine for the first time at these concerts.
CT’s visual design unit Visual45 has toured with the band throughout the summer, working on festival shows’ visual design, and the Olympic Stadium was no exception. Their contribution included designing and directing the IMAG-camera operations, designing and producing event video content, as well as video and lighting programming and operation. The pyrotechnics were provided by Fire Factory Oy.
PMMP’s show was a highly anticipated event, and we were honored to be a part of it. By combining top-notch technology with artistic creativity, we created an unforgettable experience that will be remembered. Thank you to Warner Music Live and PMMP for your trust and successful collaboration.
