In Norway the addition of Bright meant a substantial growth of the Systems Integration business, with a large team dedicated to delivering permanent solutions to museums, concert halls, schools, hospitals, public spaces and more. A new business area of Sales and Distribution was introduced, including a webshop distributing high quality AV-equipment to the industry. A new office in Oslo was opened and CT Norway now employees more than 150 team members.
– We are thrilled over the possibilities that Creative Technology present to us, and we already see great synergies for system integrations, with co-operation across the region, on new projects in Norway, said Jan-Inge Ingebrigtsen, Managing Director of CT Norway.
The acquisition of Bright Group also means a new country on the global Creative Technology map, as we enter the market in Finland. The Finnish head office in Vantaa employs nearly one hundred team members, made up of project managers, technical experts and specialist staff. The Finnish branch adds a new service to the region with Visual45 – a content and design unit delivering set designs, graphic content and creative ideas to live events and broadcast projects.
–We’ve received a really warm welcome into the group. Our employees see this as a huge opportunity to develop knowledge and the business even further, and to serve our Finnish customers even better world-wide. We have already seen immediate benefits of this deal, such as internal equipment sharing, joint projects and trainings. Not to mention one of our senior LED technician going to CT Australia to support their summer season, said Jarno Uusitalo, Managing Director CT Finland.
In Sweden the on-boarding of Bright Group has meant a growing team in Stockholm and new broadcast event studios across the capital region.
– What the Bright team has brought to the group is exactly what we need during this time with high demands for streaming studios and video competence. Experts in this field are very welcome, said Rikard Troell Norén, MD Creative Technology Sweden and Denmark.
Another service added to the region is staging. With one of Northern Europe’s largest inventory of outdoor and mobile stages Creative Technology can now provide staging services to festivals and outdoor as well as indoor live events from warehouses in Norway, Sweden and Finland, making the company a true 360 supplier to events of any size and scope.
– The addition of Bright was the best gift we could get right now. During these last few months we have been working hard with the re-branding and the integration between our companies and we look forward to our future together as One Team, said Patrik Dejve, MD Creative Technology Northern Europe.
