Audio Designed for the Room & Audience
Awards ceremonies constantly shift between different types of moments. One minute the room needs the lift of walk-on music and category stings. The next, it needs the warmth of an acceptance speech landing naturally across a room full of people.
The NEXO PA system was designed around the venue layout to provide balanced coverage throughout the space, allowing speeches, playback and live moments to feel consistent from every table. Sennheiser microphones gave presenters and winners reliable, natural speech reinforcement, helping people feel comfortable on stage without becoming too aware of the technology around them.
Music cues and playback were carefully balanced to maintain energy without overpowering audience reaction or conversation. The aim was never simply volume. It was about creating a room that felt lively and celebratory while still allowing moments of speech to land properly.
Good audio often goes unnoticed when it is working well. On a night like this, that is exactly the point.
Care in the Detail
What stood out throughout the project was the way Verve approached the event. Nothing felt rushed or treated as routine. There was clear intent behind how the room should feel, how the ceremony should move and how guests should experience the evening from beginning to end.
Marketing Institute Ireland brought the same focus to its members, finalists and winners, ensuring the celebration reflected the standard of the industry it represents.
For Creative Technology, the role was to support that ambition with technical production that felt controlled, confident and unobtrusive. Screens, cameras, audio and communications all worked together to create an awards ceremony that gave the work, the winners and the room the attention they deserved.
