The Result

Content.

Our in-house creative content studio produced supporting visuals for the LED and projection-based screen technology that elevated the audience’s overall experience, keeping them entertained and engaged throughout the night.

Taking the client’s pre-existing designs as a starting point, our team of motion designers built upon these, delivering large-scale motion graphic animations that included an attention-grabbing opening video to kick off the night’s festivities, while our dynamic background holding slides, speaker intros slides, award category, nominee and winner slides and countdowns all came together to elevate the event’s spectacle to another level, ensuring maximum enjoyment for the audience.

During the production stage, our designs were presented to the client as an in-room 3D pre-visualisation, utilising the screen technology in play to create an expanded canvas that flowed through out the room making the content, and opening video in particular, all that more engaging.

This review-led approach allowed the client to get a real sense of how the content would play across the 5 in-room screens (made up of 3 custom-LED screens flanking the stage and 2 end-wall projector screens), making the review and sign off process seamless.

Visuals.

Our team provided 3 separate LED screens, all crafted using our ROE Visual BP2V2 screen tiles. Known as the ‘Gold Standard’ in Virtual production, the BP2V2 screen tiles provided a cinematic quality background for the awards ceremony, with rich colour accuracy and on-camera quality. We also supplied two of our High-Resolution Panasonic projectors to ensure the event content was accessible to every table, alongside multiple HD TV screens to showcase the seating plan and event sponsors.

The combination of LED and projection with our added up lighting ensured the provided content was showcased to its full effect, enhancing the overall luxury feel of the evening.

Audio.

To complement the Visual display, and ensure the event sounded as good as it looked, our team also provided a bespoke audio set up using our d&b Audiotechnik line array PA system, which is widely known for its clear and high quality audio coverage.

The system design was carried out using d&b Array Calc, which allowed us to meticulously design and predict the coverage of the PA, from right in front of the stage, to the very rear of the hall. Time alignment was carried out using ‘SIA Smaart’, with added system processing within the amps using d&b R1 networking control.
