Deciphex Annual Conference & Awards

For an organisation redefining global pathology through AI, an annual conference cannot feel routine. It needs to reflect ambition, responsibility and forward momentum.

Deciphex brought its global team together for a two-day conference at the Crowne Plaza Dublin Airport, followed by an awards ceremony and gala dinner in the RDS Concert Hall. Across both venues, Creative Technology designed and delivered the complete creative and technical environment, including stage design, screen content, audio coverage, live show control and highlight reel production.

From the earliest planning conversations, it was clear to us that this was about more than just production. It was about reinforcing direction internally and creating an experience that matched the scale of the organisation.

Building the Conference Environment

The conference acted as an all-hands moment, setting the strategic direction for the year ahead. Leadership presentations carried real weight, so the environment had to support clarity, focus and confidence.

A large-format LED screen centred the stage, supported by two side screens to maintain clear sightlines across the room. Additional displays were positioned throughout the space to ensure content remained visible from every angle.

While Deciphex developed their presentation slides internally, we built the visual framework around them. This included animated backgrounds, branded holding slides, transitions and walk-on sequences. These elements were designed to provide continuity, ensuring each speaker stepped into a defined visual setting rather than a blank stage.

Our video team captured interviews, audience reactions and key moments across both days. Highlights from day one were edited on-site and played out the following morning to open day two, reinforcing key messages and maintaining energy in the room. The finished film now forms part of Deciphex’s internal communications toolkit, extending the value of the event beyond the initial venue.

The audio system was designed to deliver consistent coverage across the full footprint of the room, supporting everything from keynote presentations to panel discussions with clarity.

Transitioning to an Awards Environment

Moving into the RDS Concert Hall required a clear shift in tone while maintaining a sense of cohesion across the two days. The creative concept centred on a premium masquerade theme, expressed through gold motion graphics, layered reveal sequences and cinematic nominee films.

Each award category was given its own defined visual identity. Nominee reels were designed to give every individual a moment before the winner was announced. Motion assets carried consistently from holding slides through to stage content, creating a unified aesthetic throughout the evening. Uplighting was then colour-matched to Deciphex branding, embedding the company’s identity within the hall, and further complementing the on-screen content.

Rather than relying solely on a traditional single-screen awards format, LED cubes were positioned side stage, introducing depth and structure to the stage. Content was designed specifically for their multi-surface form, allowing motion and gold textures to move across planes and interact with the main screen.

They acted as architectural features as much as display surfaces, adding dimension to the set-up and strengthening the visual impact in wide shots and photography. For a company built on innovation, the staging needed to feel progressive and intentional, and the cube configuration achieved just that.

Integrated approach from Planning to Live Delivery

Creative direction and technical production were developed as a single approach. Early involvement meant staging scale, screen formats and lighting decisions were shaped by how content would perform in the space. Show flow was mapped carefully against technical execution to ensure transitions felt smooth and controlled.

With content creation, video production and technical delivery managed in-house, decisions could be made quickly and delivered with confidence. The team who developed the visual language were the same team operating it live.

Across two days, Deciphex moved from strategic alignment to celebration in environments that reflected the organisation’s ambition. The conference delivered clarity and focus, and the awards delivered recognition and presence.
