High-Profile Broadcasts for Client Bord Bia

CT Ireland delivered a series of high-profile broadcasts on behalf of client Bord Bia, The China Trade Meetings and Customer Engagement Meetings series.

The China Trade Meetings consisted of a Plenary session from our large format LED studio in the Aviva Stadium in the heart of Dublin 4. The Plenary session was hosted in person and remote contributions from presenters around the world who interacted with the MC and guests in studio. This plenary was followed by four concurrent fully remote sessions, hosted in adjacent rooms by our expert technical team. Each panellist on these fully virtual sessions was greeted by our technical team in advance of them going live so we could adjust their microphone volumes, lighting and camera so they appeared as well as possible on screen. We also checked their slides and their virtual remote control clicker. The outbound broadcast was mixed with live graphics including titles, idents, PowerPoints and video playback all seamlessly delivered to the online audience.

The second series of events, the Customer Engagement Meetings, was hosted from Bord Bia’s Creative Workshop in their Dublin offices. This space was recently fitted out with a premium Absen 1.5mm pixel pitch Ultra high definition by CT Ireland’s Systems Integration team. As we had installed the screen our Live team knew exactly what supplementary kit to bring to site to integrate with the on-site AV system to make this event run flawlessly. Again, a panel discussion hosted from this space included interactions on this screen with remotely located contributors. The series was a great success for CT Ireland from a technical point of view and our client from an audience engagement view.

Donal Denvir, Bord Bia’s UK Manager sent these lovely words to our team post event:

“Thank you for all of your outstanding work over the last two weeks in relation to the 4 UK customer meetings we had. Your work on these was outstanding and you even heard yourself how impressed our customers were by the professionalism and organisation. The whole thing was very slick, hats off to you all. It was a pleasure to work with you and I look forward to doing so again…”

Kevin Doyle, CT Ireland’s Project Manager describes the process: “Having delivered complex broadcasts such as this for last number of months I knew I could never spend enough time on the pre-production and planning of the mechanics and virtual logistics of how this event would be put together. As daunting as it all first appeared we were delighted with the end-result. It also boils down to the strength of the technical team on site who played an absolute blinder in going above and beyond for our good client Bord Bia.”
