Ireland’s Best Workplaces™ 2026

There are some events where you arrive, deliver what was asked for, and move on. Ireland’s Best Workplaces™ has never been one of those.

Our partnership with the Great Place to Work team has developed over a number of years, and with that has come a level of trust that changes the way the production is approached.

We are not simply responding to a brief, we are building the experience together, discussing how the show should feel in the room, how the brand should be represented on screen, and how the technical delivery can support the credibility of the awards themselves.

Ireland’s Best Workplaces™ is an event that celebrates culture, employee voice and leadership integrity, and the production needs to show that. It needs to feel confident and professionally executed without becoming overly theatrical or losing the authenticity that defines the night.

2025: A shift in scale and confidence

The 2025 edition marked the turning point where the show stepped away from a traditional awards set-up. Until then, the format followed what most corporate ceremonies rely on. A strong screen presence, a clear stage layout, a well-run show.

In 2025, the introduction of LED cubes changed the language of the stage entirely.

Positioned side stage, the cubes added depth and structure, breaking the flatness of a single backdrop and creating a more architectural environment. The stage no longer felt like a platform in front of a screen. It felt designed and intentional, signalling that the awards were no longer content with a standard set-up. That shift redefined expectations and set the direction for how the event would look and feel going forward.

For the 2026 edition, the conversation was not about adding more, it was about doing it better.

The same LED environment returned, this time with a clearer understanding of how it should function within the room. The cubes were fully embedded into the stage design, used intentionally to frame speakers, extend motion content and support engagement throughout the night. The main screen carried the visual narrative, but the surrounding elements ensured the stage felt dynamic and composed from every seat.

Our team delivered the complete technical production, managing all video systems, camera direction, audio design and show control under one coordinated structure. The running order was programmed with the knowledge of previous years, so that transitions between awards, speeches and video content felt natural, without awkward pauses or technical lag breaking the rhythm of the evening.

Audio has an especially important role in an awards setting. There are often personal, emotional speeches, and clarity in delivery is non-negotiable. The chosen d&b system was specifically designed to prioritise speech intelligibility while maintaining the impact of music cues that keep the energy in the room moving. Every microphone, playback track and walk-up was rehearsed and balanced to ensure consistency across the show.

Camera operators captured tight reaction shots as winners were announced, wider angles that conveyed the scale of the room, and presenter coverage that allowed the live feed to feel composed rather than incidental. The feed was routed directly to the screens, supporting visibility throughout the venue and reinforcing the shared experience of each moment.

A Creative and Technical Partnership

A defining strength of this production is that creative and technical sit within the same team. The people designing the on-screen content are working directly alongside the engineers who are managing it on-site. That integration removes friction and avoids the compromises that often happen when content and infrastructure are developed separately.

Our creative studio designed and produced all show content, including motion graphics, opening sequences, countdowns and winner announcements. The visual language was developed specifically for the LED environment, not just adapted to it afterwards. Graphics were built with sightlines in mind, with consideration for how live camera shots would sit within the composition and how content would transition between awards without feeling abrupt.

Working closely with the Great Place to Work team, the tone of the content has matured over time, becoming more assured and more closely aligned with the brand and the authority of the awards.

Our videographers documented the entire ceremony, while on-site editors worked live, turning around content that could be shared while the energy of the night was still strong. As both creative and technical teams operate as one unit, those edits could move quickly from camera to screen to social without disrupting the live show.

Built on trust

What makes Ireland’s Best Workplaces™ successful each year is not a single technical feature or design decision, its the continuity behind it.

As we have delivered the show across multiple editions, there is no learning curve around brand tone or audience expectation. We understand how the room needs to feel when the first winner is announced and how the pace needs to shift as the ceremony progresses. The Great Place to Work team trust us to protect the integrity of their event while steadily pushing the production forward.

The progression from 2025 to 2026 reflects that shared confidence. The systems are tighter, the stage language is clearer and the integration between content and technical production is more controlled.

Ireland’s Best Workplaces™ continues to grow in stature, and the production continues to grow with it. Not through excess, but through experience, collaboration and a working relationship that allows ambition to be matched by delivery.
