The event was spread across the multiple event spaces in the RDS with the objective of showcasing the potential that each of them held.

Our Live events team installed a projection screen in the Main Hall (Hall 1), where the guests were welcomed and began their tour. The projection screen displayed a short highlight reel, provided by our Creative Services team, showcasing previous events held within the different halls. Up-lighting was also added to enhance the red carpet walkway which added an extra luxury feel to the space.

A large LED screen, made from our ROE BP2V2 LED screen tiles was installed into the Concert Hall (Hall 7), displaying highlight reels and collages of previous events, providing a stunning backdrop for the speeches and presentations throughout the evening.

To complement the Visual displays, our team also provided a bespoke audio set up made up of:

• 16 x d&b Audiotechnik T10 line array (8 flown per side)
• 2 x d&b Audiotechnik T-Sub (flown) giving extended low-end response for the T10 flown system
• 4 x d&b Audiotechnik T10 point source placed as front fill
• 4 x d&b Audiotechnik Y-Sub in a spaced cardioid array giving equal sub coverage throughout
• 2 x d&b Audiotechnik D12 networked amplifier racks giving us 16 channels of amplification

To accommodate the speeches and presentations, we supplied Sennheiser 2000 system radio mics with DPA 4288 head worn microphones as well as DPA 4098 podium mics.

The chosen control system was the DiGiCo SD9 with a 32 channel D-Rack

The system design was carried out using d&b Array Calc, which allowed us to meticulously design and predict the coverage of the PA, from right in front of the stage, to the very rear of the hall. Time alignment was carried out using ‘SIA Smaart’, with added system processing within the amps using d&b R1 networking control.

Visual:

• Roe Visual BP2V2 LED Screen tiles, displaying content provided by our Creative Services team.
• 21k Panasonic Projectors, displaying content provided by our Creative Services team.
• Added Up lighting to further enhance the luxury feel of the venue.
