LED & Content Design
The organisers wanted this year’s ceremony to feel more vibrant, engaging and visually impactful than before. Our approach began with the stage. We designed a three-screen LED configuration with a strong central screen supported by two portrait displays, giving the awards a more defined visual identity and greater flexibility for storytelling.
This setup allowed us to guide the audience through every award, performance and speech with thoughtful framing and dynamic transitions.
Our Creative team developed a bespoke motion graphics package built around a colourful disco-ball motif. The visuals were bright, celebratory and unmistakably reflective of the community at the centre of the event. Every element was designed to lift the energy in the room, build anticipation before each award and bring performances to life in a way that felt cohesive and joyful.
Audio Coverage
With performances from Elaine Mai and the Glória LGBT+ Choir, and hosts Pj Kirby and Kevin Twomey guiding the evening, the show did not fall short of voice and expression. Our audio team conducted a detailed assessment of the CCD to understand its acoustic requirements. They designed a bespoke PA system that delivered even coverage throughout the space, ensuring every guest, whether seated at the front or the back, experienced consistent clarity.
For the hosts, Pj Kirby and Kevin Twomey, vocal clarity was key. We provided microphones and monitoring setups that supported their delivery style, ensuring every joke, introduction and heartfelt moment landed cleanly with the audience.
Why Supporting the GALAS Mattered to Us.
Creative Technology’s work is rooted in collaboration, creativity and human connection. The GALAS speaks directly to these values. It celebrates people who use their voices to make society safer, more open and more inclusive. Supporting the event felt like a natural extension of the culture we strive to build.
Many of our team members have worked closely with LGBTQ+ organisations, creatives and performers across the world. We have seen first-hand how important visible platforms are for representation and community empowerment. Sponsoring the 2025 event was our way of contributing to that visibility.
It was also an opportunity to give something meaningful back. Our role wasn’t just to deliver a technical show, but to help create an environment where stories could be shared, achievements recognised, and the community celebrated at its best.
