VILLEBON-SUR-YVETTE, France (12 September, 2025)
During a recent visit to the company’s sleek facility in the heart of France’s technology corridor, just south of Paris, Ayrton‘s headquarters, it became clear why this French lighting manufacturer has carved out a distinctive position in the competitive LED fixture market.
The journey began in Ayrton’s stunning new showroom, where the Ultimate Series was on display. The Stradale Profile, Rivale, Veloce Profile/Wash, Kyalami, and Argo 6 FX fixtures were demoed, with each piece representing years of engineering refinement and design philosophy. But it’s the carefully guarded prototypes and upcoming fixtures that hint at Ayrton’s ambitions for the future.

Two Decades of Innovation on Display
Perhaps most striking is the company’s museum, a testament to methodical progress since 2001. The collection spans Ayrton’s evolution from its early LED experiments to today’s moving lights, each fixture marking a milestone in the company’s journey through the industry’s rapid technological transformation.

During his visit, Sam Connolly, CT ME’s Head of Lighting and Power, said, “Coming to Ayrton’s HQ was eye‑opening, from the Ultimate Series on display to the museum tracing their evolution since 2001, and the hands‑on R&D and testing. Their commitment to innovation and design excellence is truly inspiring.”

R&D at the Core
The facility’s research and development operation reveals the meticulous approach behind Ayrton’s products. Engineers conduct rigorous testing protocols, subjecting fixtures to extreme conditions that simulate years of professional use. Quality control processes are equally thorough, with each unit passing through multiple checkpoints before earning the Ayrton name.
This commitment to testing and validation has helped establish Ayrton’s reputation among lighting professionals who demand reliability in mission-critical applications—from major concert tours to architectural installations where failure isn’t an option.
