This initiative represents more than just a showcase; it's a deliberate effort to shape the future of the AV industry in the Middle East.
“At Creative Technology, we are particularly invested in training the next generation of AV specialists and lead the way in sharing our knowledge and expertise across the Middle East region,” explains Carmen Perez, highlighting the company’s commitment to educational outreach. “Hosting students is a key part of this mission, as it allows us to inspire young talent, demonstrate real-world applications of our technology, and highlight the innovative solutions that power major events and projects across the region.” Students from diverse fields including Art & Design, Business, Media Studies, Performance Arts, and Graphic Communication had the opportunity to engage hands-on with professional equipment and ask questions directly to industry professionals.
The impact on attending students and faculty was immediate and profound. Dr. Jairo Alfonso Lugo-Ocando, Dean of the College of Education at the University of Sharjah observed, “By the time our students left the event, they felt deeply inspired and motivated. I am confident this will soon be reflected in their work as well.” This sentiment was echoed by other educators. “Bravo to your team!” stated Muhammad Asad Iqbal, a lecturer at the University of Sharjah. “The thought and effort put into curating this event were truly impressive. A special thanks for allowing our students to engage with the equipment.” Gemma Harte, the Head of Media Studies at Gems Wellington academy commented on the student’s experience: “It was an absolute pleasure to come and visit you and the students loved it.” Her enthusiasm was matched by Diego Biagioni, Sound Tutor in Sharjah Performing Arts Academy (SPAA) who expressed gratitude for the “fantastic” showcase at CT’s facilities.
