Creative Technology's Technical Integration of Solana Breakpoint 2025

Abu Dhabi, UAE — The global Solana community gathered at Etihad Arena for Breakpoint 2025, a builder-focused Web3 conference that brought together founders, developers, and creators for several days of talks, workshops, and discussions about where crypto is headed next.

Groundbreaking Amsterdam & Brownys Productions brought in Creative Technology Middle East to handle the complete technical delivery across the main stage and breakout spaces. This meant everything from audio and video to LED lighting, media servers, control systems, and networking.

The Varying Factor in the Constant

Here’s the thing about these Web3 events: they don’t follow a traditional conference format. One minute we’re running a broadcast-quality keynote with IMAG and presentation decks, the next we’re supporting an intimate panel discussion, then pivoting to hands-on developer workshops with live coding demos, then back to immersive brand experiences. As such, everything had to be rock-solid reliable but also flexible enough to reconfigure quickly as the program shifted throughout each day.

What CT Built

LED & Video

The mainstage visual environment was anchored by large-format LED displays designed to deliver high-resolution clarity for speaker IMAG, presentation content, live feeds, and Solana-branded visuals. Using a combination of Absen PL2.5 Lite and P4.8 LED panels, CTME balanced resolution, brightness, and viewing distance across keynote spaces, experiential areas, and circulation zones. Architectural and floating LED elements were introduced to add depth and visual layering, while LED installations in entrance tunnels and arrival areas extended the Breakpoint visual identity beyond the primary rooms and into the wider venue experience.

All video content and playback were managed through a Disguise d3 GX3 server ecosystem, supported by additional Resolume and high-spec CTME media servers for auxiliary zones and immersive installations. This architecture provided the flexibility required to transition seamlessly between scheduled talks, live demos, branded motion content, and real-time feeds, while ensuring redundancy across all show-critical playback paths.

Audio
Speech intelligibility was non-negotiable. CT deployed a professional wireless environment using Shure Axient Digital systems for presenters and panelists, supported by Shure PSM1000 in-ear monitoring where foldback was required. For the main sound reinforcement. Audio control and I/O were managed through a DiGiCo-based environment, with timecode and signal distribution integrated tightly with video and lighting control across all stacks.

Lighting

Lighting played a critical role in shaping the atmosphere of Breakpoint, shifting between clean, broadcast-friendly conference looks during talks and more expressive, brand-led environments for immersive experiences and evening celebrations.

The lighting system combined Ayrton Rivale Profile and Wash fixtures for precision, Robe iFORTE LTX units for output and reliability in large spaces, and Martin MAC One fixtures for movement and visual accents. Extensive use of Astera AX2 PixelBars and AX5 TriplePars allowed us to activate architectural features, tunnels, and experiential zones, reinforcing the event’s visual identity throughout the venue. Control was handled via grandMA3 consoles and processing, enabling both cue-based programming and live operation as the event transitioned between formats.

Infrastructure

Netgear and Luminex switching handled signal distribution between departments, and CT ran a dedicated comms system so the crew could stay connected from load-in through derig.

The Result?

Breakpoint 2025 did exactly what it needed to do: it gave the Solana community a flexible, reliable technical platform to connect, share ideas, and push things forward. It was another clean execution that let the content and conversations take center stage.
