During the 65th edition of the Edison Pop Awards 2025 at the AFAS Theater in Leusden, the best of what the Dutch music industry has to offer was celebrated.

An Unforgettable Experience

At the Edison Pop Awards, artists were honored for their achievements in the Dutch music industry. For the 2025 edition, Creative Technology was commissioned to handle the technical execution of the event.

Winners

Elmer was named Best Newcomer, while Yves Berendse received the Edison in the Hollands category. Bnnyhunna was awarded in the Soul/R&B/Funk category, and Eefje de Visser won in the Dutch-language category.

In the Pop category, the award went to Roxy Dekker. Fresku was honored for his album in the Hip-Hop category. The award for Best Song went to Frenna for Pretty Girls, and KI/KI was recognized in the Dance category. Néomí won in the Alternative category, and the Edison for Rock was awarded to the band Personal Trainer. The most prestigious award of the evening, Best Album, was presented to Froukje for Noodzakelijk Verdriet.

In addition to these categories, the Edison Pop Lifetime Achievement Award 2025 was presented to De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig in recognition of their remarkable contribution to Dutch music.

Our Technical Solutions

For the show, we supplied all of the LED and video solutions. The centerpiece of the stage consisted of four LED screens that played a prominent role in the set design: three smaller screens and one large screen. Additionally, the LED floor was a true eye-catcher, adding an extra layer of visual impact. The set was further enhanced by approximately 200 Roe LED strips, strategically placed and partially integrated into custom-made frames.

Media Servers

For the complete control of all LED elements, including the theater LED screen, we used Pixera. With numerous cue triggers for the different categories and segments of the show, we ensured a seamless and spectacular visual experience.

Live Recording

Additionally, we provided six cameras with live direction, complemented by six dome cameras. This allowed us to capture the dynamic energy of the show in razor-sharp detail while also delivering stylish and smooth footage from the red carpet.
