FIS 100th anniversary party

FIS 100 Party provided the almost 700 guests with a night of memories, music, and milestones. Our design and technology solutions, created a unforgettable night for the guests.

Celebrating 100 years FIS trough technology and creativity

The 100th anniversary celebrations of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation culminated in Portorož, Slovenia, bringing together the ski and snowboard community for a memorable night.

For this event, we were responsible for the stage design and all media content. Additionally, we made the technical translation. We realized all the technical aspects, ranging from technical drawings to selecting the suitable technology. Ultimately, we were on-site responsible for the full production and direction of the event.

Creative video solutions

A unique feature of this event was the stage design. A LED backdrop, designed to mimic the shape of mountain peaks and slopes, was created specifically for this occasion. The backdrop had an area of 120m² and was built with ROE Diamond 2.6 LED panels. In addition, old FIS competition posters were projected onto the wall using four Barco UDX – 4K32 Laser projectors.

To manage all of the video content, 2 Pixera media servers were deployed, ensuring seamless control and delivery of high-quality visuals throughout the event.

A complete audiovisual package

Beside the video solutions, Faber also took charge of lighting, sound, and rigging. We provided a design that delivered a unique visual and acoustic experience for the audience.

In total, 12 crew members were responsible for the venue setup and all operations during the show. Additionally, our CNC department played a role in the event’s production. They crafted large wooden snowboards and skis, used both as as decor and serving platters for finger food, enhancing the overall ambiance.
