The two-week event nurtured creativity, promoted talent, inspired onlookers and created unforgettable experiences. The vibrant program, which showcases work from more than 60 artists from 20 different countries, including multiple Saudi Arabia homegrown artists, illuminates public art installations and landmarks across Riyadh. The city-wide installations are spread across numerous locations within two main hubs, the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) and the King Abdulaziz Historical Center (KAHC), where pieces will light up the city from March 18th to April 3rd 2021.
Creative Technology (CT) are honoured to be part of the Noor Riyadh Festival, delivering video, audio and lighting solutions across multiple public art installations and landmarks on behalf of our client Balich Worldwide Shows.
For the video, CT provided a variety of high brightness Panasonic projectors, disguise media servers, and signal distribution across multiple canvases ranging from 1,765 sqm projection surfaces to art sculptures varying in size and shape. The audio across the installations consisted of a range of D&B speakers and subs, multiple handheld radio mic kits, all controlled from Yamaha QL1 digital desks, while Robe fixtures and Avolites control provided solutions for all the ambient lighting around the installations.
The festival, which has already been a success, is set to become an annual event.
