At Anders Walls Stiftelse’s scholarship award ceremony at the Grand Hôtel in March, in collaboration with Panasonic we set up three remote-controlled PTZ cameras in Vinterträdgården, which via a so-called CT-Link were controlled and mixed from CT’s control room in Bromma.
On site in Vinterträdgården we had three event technicians who handled audio, lighting and video and on site in the control room one technician handled cameras, mixing and streaming. Communication between the locations was as usual via intercom. The show was broadcast live on Facebook and YouTube.
The purpose of remote production is to quickly and smoothly carry out a camera production without having to transport, build up and connect the entire technical infrastructure. Remote production creates a flexible and efficient alternative to conventional productions, but with the same high quality.
