Having helped deliver the Festival of Remembrance for many years, Creative Technology were honoured to once again work for BBC Studios Events to create a moving tribute to commemorate all those who have lost their lives in conflicts.
To help transform the Royal Albert Hall into a captivating arena for the large live audience and the millions more watching at home, Creative Technology supplied a combination of LED and projection technologies to the iconic auditorium, working to a set designed by the hugely talented Dominic Tolfts.
To project the beautiful storytelling content created by Kate Dawkins Studio onto the stage floor, 12 x RQ35K projectors were intricately aligned and flown above the concert hall. To add further depth and additional visual elements to the stage, Creative Technology provided LED I-Mag screens and a floor banner utilising ROE BQ4 and an on-stage LED screen utilising ROE Ruby.
The accompanying, mesmerising lighting and video playback was provided by Nigel Catmur Lighting Design, with Creative Technology’s Barco E2 managing all the screen distribution from Hippotizer media servers to feed all the LED screens and projection.
To bring all the various technical elements from different departments together, Steve Nolan of Chromatic Productions Ltd was on hand to ensure a seamless rig, providing accomplished technical production – resulting in yet another memorable event worthy of its sentiment.
